Family Broadcasting Corporation WHMB TV-40 Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for experienced connected media professionals who are creative, optimistic and looking to be a part of an extraordinary company doing extraordinary work.
The Account Executive will build business by identifying and selling prospective clients. Duties will include selling commercial time, creating and selling content and selling production services to businesses and churches throughout the WHMB TV-40 viewing area.
Skill requirements include being highly motivated, purpose driven and positive. Excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills required. Must be creative, focused on bottom-line results and making a difference. Strong computer skills (MS Excel and Power Point) along with reliable transportation are a must.
The desired candidate should have a strong work history with proven track record of new business development and goal achievement as well as previous successful sales experience.
This is a full-time position that offers a base salary plus commission. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: monitoring and troubleshooting automation playlists for up to five television & six radio stations, downloading and segmenting syndicated programming, switching live news and sports programming, maintaining transmitter logs, and other duties as needed.

BASIC FUNCTION:
This position will be responsible for working with sales management and local AE’s in developing sales presentations, helping in whatever is needed in assisting the local sales team and keeping them ‘on the street’, overseeing our social media presence & expansion, updating the station website, inputting client orders, assisting in pre and post log reports, greeting guests for various productions, etc.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Create Sales One Sheets with Power Point, Word & Excel.
Social Media Updates & Expand Platform.
Update/Maintain Station Website and ability to develop contest platform.
Set up client profiles & input advertising orders.
Pull Post / Pre Log times for client advertising orders.
Answer phones, route calls, greet station / show guests.
Support with high school sports live read book.
Additional duties as assigned by manager
SKILLS:
High level of computer proficiency software, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, experience in WideOrbit broadcast traffic software a plus. Proven ability to learn new software programs quickly required. Creative, ability to multitask, detail oriented, proactive, coachable, adapts positively and quickly to change. Excellent written, verbal, communication skills and with high level of accuracy required. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Flexibility and receptiveness in learning new tasks and eager to take on more responsibility. Demonstrates professionalism when interacting with ministry leaders and corporate representatives. Motivated by making a difference in a purpose driven team environment.

Family Broadcasting Corporation in Noblesville, Indiana is seeking a Editor/Production Assistant.
BASIC FUNCTION: Assist in all aspects of television production as assigned by the Production Manager.
RESPONSIBILITES:
1. Editing: Adobe Creative Suite; Premier Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
2. Handle the production of in house productions and client video productions as assigned.
3. Shoot and edit station promos, commercials and programs.
4. Camera operation in studio and on remote locations.
5. Perform audio, lighting and editing tasks.
6. Coordinate with Master Control on hard copy of FTP delivery of locally produced promos, commercials and programs.
7. Work directly with clients and Account Executives to fulfill client needs.
8. Additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Broadcast Media or related field preferred.
2-4 years of previous production experience with broadcast media knowledge.
Experience in all aspects of remote and in house video production; producing, directing, editing, shooting and writing television programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A self-starter with excellent time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment.
Sports knowledge preferred – High school football and basketball.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
