Family Broadcasting Corporation WHMB TV-40 Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for experienced connected media professionals who are creative, optimistic and looking to be a part of an extraordinary company doing extraordinary work.
The Account Executive will build business by identifying and selling prospective clients. Duties will include selling commercial time, creating and selling content and selling production services to businesses and churches throughout the WHMB TV-40 viewing area.
Skill requirements include being highly motivated, purpose driven and positive. Excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills required. Must be creative, focused on bottom-line results and making a difference. Good computer skills (excel and power point) and reliable transportation are a must.
The desired candidate should have a strong work history with proven track record of new business development and goal achievement. Previous successful sales experience and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or business related field is preferred.
This is a full time position that offers a base salary plus commission. Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for our corporate office. The ideal candidate will be effective working independently and as part of a team. The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to complete work in an accurate and timely manner with an emphasis on organization and continuous improvement of A/P processes. Three years of direct experience and a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting are required with preference given to individuals with a Bachelor’s degree. Great Plains and/or Business Central experience is preferred along with proficient Microsoft Office skills.
Primary responsibilities will include:
1. Review invoices, obtain approvals, accurately code to g/l accounts and enter in system.
2. Review payment requests verifying authorization, g/l coding, and amount is accurate.
3. Record all forms of payments accurately including credit card, ACH, wire and check payments.
4. Reconcile and record AP credit card activity
5. Produce an accurate, complete AP aging
6. Reconcile vendor statements to balance in AP
7. Maintain organization of all AP files and documentation.

Description:
Family Broadcasting Corporation in South Bend, Indiana is looking for experienced General Manager who is creative, optimistic and looking to be a part of an extraordinary company doing extraordinary work.
This position is responsible for the oversight and development of one television station and two FM radio stations and the corresponding production department and related staff. This position leads the efforts to provide high quality, family friendly and financially viable television and radio programming.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Leads in the development of strategic plans; executes plans, implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational and departmental goals and objectives consistent with the mission of the corporation.
- Creates or secures high quality television programing that will attract and increase viewership while working with staff on client development; taking measures to ensure the station viability and growth.
- Cultivates relationships with business clients in the community that will lead to new and increased revenue opportunities.
- Supervise technical and administrative support staff.
- Manage the operations for television and radio and respective support departments including but not limited to budgeting, physical and financial asset management, and resources planning.
- Ensures compliance with the FCC and all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills with strong ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or related broadcasting field, and 5-10 years of experience combined in Marketing, Community Relations, and Broadcasting.
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial and public broadcasting and instructional technologies.
- Knowledge of television production.
- Ability to define, communicate and implement organizational vision.
- Ability to lead, manage and retain motivated and harmonious staff.
- Knowledge of new technologies; commitment to diversity and community outreach.
- Excellent listening skills, integrity, personality and administrative versatility required for successful leadership.
