Family Broadcasting Corporation WHMB TV-40 Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for experienced connected media professionals who are creative, optimistic and looking to be a part of an extraordinary company doing extraordinary work.
The Account Executive will build business by identifying and selling prospective clients. Duties will include selling commercial time, creating and selling content and selling production services to businesses and churches throughout the WHMB TV-40 viewing area.
Skill requirements include being highly motivated, purpose driven and positive. Excellent verbal, writing and organizational skills required. Must be creative, focused on bottom-line results and making a difference. Strong computer skills (MS Excel and Power Point) along with reliable transportation are a must.
The desired candidate should have a strong work history with proven track record of new business development and goal achievement as well as previous successful sales experience.
This is a full-time position that offers a base salary plus commission. Description:
Family Broadcasting Corporation in South Bend, Indiana is seeking Full-Time Broadcast Engineer.
Position Summary – This position is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of electronic equipment related to Television and Radio broadcast and some non-broadcast equipment for South Bend operations of Family Broadcasting Corporation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install, repair, operate, and maintain technical equipment for operation of television and radio stations.
- Troubleshoot and make corrective repairs to equipment as needed.
- Maintain transmitters.
- Log and maintain equipment repair and inventory.
- Log and maintain transmitter logs.
- Log and maintain wire logs and schematics.
- Train and assist operators in the use of equipment.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related broadcasting field, and ten years of experience combined in Engineering and Broadcasting.
- Knowledge of television engineering and production.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of new technologies; commitment to staying current with fast paced changes.
- Excellent listening and trouble-shooting skills.
- Well-organized and self-directed with the ability to work independently and as a team-player.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong ability to effectively communicate complex concept to a wide and diverse audience.
- Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to meet specific deadlines, multi-task and follow directions.
