As the son to the late Peter Sumrall, Drew Sumrall has been a part of the FBC family his entire life. Since becoming President and CEO of Family Broadcasting Corporation, his focus has been to carry on the rich legacy that was created by those that came before him.
Drew began working full time for FBC (originally LeSEA Broadcasting) in 2001. For nearly two decades, Drew has served in several roles. Those positions include master control operator, production manager, radio, and television account executive, as well as working in shortwave radio to expand programming and sales. Drew has produced and hosted several radio and television shows, and has managed FBC’s health and lifestyle brand Making Healthy Choices.
In 2015, Drew assumed the leadership of FBC after the sudden death of his father, Peter Sumrall. Since that time, Drew has involved himself in every facet of the ministry and business to expand FBC’s impact. Notable accomplishments include repositioning Family Broadcasting as an even more family-focused media company reaching millions, distributing hundreds of thousands of Bibles through FBC’s Spread the Word campaign, and growing Family Entertainment Television (FETV) into a Nielsen-rated, top-70 network in over 50 million homes, more than doubling FBC’s reach in less than four years.
